Greetings:

Please help me get a filter working. Link to site is 64.191.174.158/bodyfit/index.php ... &Itemid=58

I have three filterable fields: 1) Fitness Phase, 2) Equipment, and 3) Primary Region. The Primary Region filter is random and not working except on a few selectable items. This filter is a SQL-based FlexiContent select field type.

Sorry that my little server is unavailable at the moment. (It's like the little engine that could!) Anyway, the issue is that I created a SQL-based select box field and would like to make this field filterable. It is not functioning correctly as a filter (select box works fine).

Has anyone else had similar problem?

Please note I will perform some analysis within the database later today. If the solution is found, I will share so this issue can be avoided in future.

Solved. This cause of inconsistent behavior in the filter was a error in my SQL statement. Problem solved once I SELECTed the PKey (id) column. The erratic behavior stopped due to unique identifier. Basically, it came down to a fundamental SQL mistake on my part.

The take away from this? Consideration should be given to including the PKey db column in SQL queries.

Thanks.

Oh, let me add that FlexiContent is absolutely amazing. Hugh congratulations. :D

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?
