Download error after Upgrade to Joomla 4

I have upgraded a client website to Joomla 4 and the latest FlexiContent version.
It's all good apart from downloads (file field type). When clicking on any file in the frontend, I get this 403 error:

403 - Direct usage of this controller is not allowed in frontend. Task: download

I searched in the language overrides to see which part of the system might generate this with no success.
I also disabled the firewall and the custom HTACCESS which had no effect.
Any tipps?

Thanks a lot.

I found a workaround, but I don't know if this is a bug, (using Flexi version 4.1.3 for Joomla 4)
administrator/components/com_flexicontent/controllers/items.php, on line 45:
Code:
var $FE_tasks_proxied = array(...

I have added 'download' to the array which solves the issue until the next flexicontent update. Can you confirm that this is the solution?
Kind regards,
Terry

hello we work on it waitinf for an update

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?
