Unable to update

Unable to update was created by arc3c
Dear,

It is impossible to update the version of flexicontent on our livesite. We always get "Copy Failed"
When we take a backup and restore the backup to our lab server it is working fine. We have installed the Akkeba Admin tools and check the file permissions but these seem to be ok.
We think it is a folder that can't be accessed but how can we debug this? How do we know where to look?
Other updates (other modules) are working fine.

Thanks for the help

maybe you a have a limmitation with size package or php time execution
you can try to use this url
github.com/FLEXIcontent/flexicontent-cck...ive/v3.2.1.15.tar.gz
in installation page (url tab)

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

Hello

Testing with Joomla 3.90
i have denied locally access to file

administrator\components\com_flexicontent\admin.flexicontent.php

and then i got

Warning
Copy failed: D:\xampp\htdocs\j390\tmp\install_5bfc33952ebd4\flexicontent-cck-3.3.x\admin\admin.flexicontent.php to D:\xampp\htdocs\j390\administrator\components\com_flexicontent\admin.flexicontent.php
JInstaller: :Install: Failed to copy file D:\xampp\htdocs\j390\tmp\install_5bfc33952ebd4\flexicontent-cck-3.3.x\admin\admin.flexicontent.php to D:\xampp\htdocs\j390\administrator\components\com_flexicontent\admin.flexicontent.php
Component Update: Failed to copy administrator files.

Error
Error installing component

I mean the error thrown by J3.9.0 should include the source and destination file
could this message be a 3rd party extension ? do you have an older Joomla version ?

Hello

so the Error text is
"Copy file failed"

or

"Copy failed" (you posted this text originally)
