i tried many things before write here but i don't find the solution.
When i update from 2.2.1 to 3.0.8 with joomla 3.4.3 or 3.4.4, the update is stop when i must initialise permissions.
I always need to refresh after update of the initial permissions.
(And i've got 96 usergroups )

To answer about ACL Manager, i don't use this extension.
