you have 3 options for icons:
- text
- icon
- text and icon

unfortunately i have to come back on cache issue again, i realized that the system works fine with all sub menu (single category), but when you select main menu (any one), what you select still remain also if you select another main menu (multi categories flexi menu).
I tried to disable some third parts as: sef plugin, too many files plugin, jch plugin, but without any success.
I'm available to send you via PM admin access for a short check if you desire.
Attached some screen shot that help to understand what i mean.
