[+ ziparchive] Blank page when trying to access Flexicontent

Hello,

Brand new site.
J3.2.3
F2.1.3_r1857

Installation was successful (all tasks).

Whenever I try to open Flexicontent from the Component menu or from the Article Manager, I get stuck on a blank page.

Tried to downgrade to v2.1.3_r1824 and then to v2.1.2_r1806 but to no avail.

Anyone?

a blank page is almost always a PHP fatal error

we need to get this to print

Go to Joomla' "Global Configuration"
and set parameter "error reporting" to "maximum"

Thank you. I feel silly, I should have thought about that.
Now with the error reporting set to maximum, I get this error:

Fatal error: Class 'ZipArchive' not found in /home/domain/www/components/com_flexicontent/classes/flexicontent.helper.php on line 5086

your webhost does not have ZipArchive,

edit file:
/home/domain/www/components/com_flexicontent/classes/flexicontent.helper.php

and temporarily add the following code into comments:

-- after doing the above you will be able to work with FLEXIcontent, but then contact your webhost to enable support for "zipArchive" !!

NOTE: "zipArchive" is currently needed when using the download carts module, (to manage a multi-download) which module is not yet publicly available, but in future this class will be used for configuration exporting, etc
