Blank page on frontend was created by Tomoe
Hi,
I have quite a problem with a fresh install of Joomla (2.5.9) and FlexiContent (brand new version 2.0.0 - r1648, but I first tried with a previous version which was downloaded). Everything seems OK on backend, but on frontend, blank page. I tried debug mode, but still blank page, no error message (debug mode is enabled on pages other than articles). Source code of the page is :
Code:
<div id="flexicontent" class="flexicontent fcitems fcitem41 fctype1 fcmaincat14" > <!-- BOF beforeDisplayContent --> <p class="buttons"> [url=/index.php/component/mailto/?tmpl=component&amp;link=e64a0e02ce0acc96d26c6dfe3e38895016b64782" class="editlinktip hasTip" onclick="window.open(this.href,'win2','width=400,height=300,menubar=yes,resizable=yes'); return false;" title="Recommend::Recommend this page]<img src="/media/system/images/emailButton.png" alt="Recommend" />[/url] [url=/index.php/test/14-formalites/41-passeport-et-visas?pop=1&amp;tmpl=component&amp;print=1" class="editlinktip hasTip" onclick="window.open(this.href,'win2','status=no,toolbar=no,scrollbars=yes,titlebar=no,menubar=no,resizable=yes,width=640,height=480,directories=no,location=no'); return false;" title="Print::Print this page]<img src="/media/system/images/printButton.png" alt="Print" />[/url] </p> <h2 class="contentheading"><span class="fc_item_title">
that s all for the whole page !

Server configuration is :
  • PHP Built On Windows NT NS382216 6.1 build 7601 (Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard Edition Service Pack 1) i586
  • Database Version 5.0.45
  • Database Collation utf8_general_ci
  • PHP Version 5.3.22
  • Web Server Microsoft-IIS/7.5
  • WebServer to PHP Interface cgi-fcgi
  • Joomla! Version Joomla! 2.5.9 Stable [ Ember ] 4-February-2013 14:00 GMT
  • Joomla! Platform Version Joomla Platform 11.4.0 Stable [ Brian Kernighan ] 03-Jan-2012 00:00 GMT
  • Table type : InnoDB
Any idea of the problem ?

... can re create your link ?
check number of item how you load in category view ?
did you test single item ?

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

Hello,

Do you have some custom template?
-- Try with a built-in one

Can you send me a PM with super admin login to review this?

@Micker. Tested with category view and single item. For category, page source code starts with
Code:
<div id="flexicontent" class="flexicontent fccategory fccat9" > <!-- BOF buttons -->
and stops with
Code:
<!-- EOF category info -->
For single item, it opens with
Code:
<div id="flexicontent" class="flexicontent fcitems fcitem41 fctype1 fcmaincat14" > <!-- BOF beforeDisplayContent -->
and stops with
Code:
<h2 class="contentheading"><span class="fc_item_title">

@ggppdk. Tested all default templates, nothing changes. I also tried with a fresh Joomla installation (and a new DB), same problem occurs.
Unfortunately, it's on the client's server, and I'm using a VPN to access it. So I can't give you for the time any admin access. Looking for a way to do it.

But :
1/ Do you know any issue using Flexicontent on IIS server ?
2/ On System Information > PHP Settings, Relevant PHP Settings are :

Safe Mode > Off
Open basedir > None
Display Errors > Off
Short Open Tags > Off
File Uploads > On
Magic Quotes > Off
Register Globals > Off
Output Buffering > On
Session Save Path > None
Session Auto Start > 0
XML Enabled > Yes
Zlib Enabled > Yes
Native ZIP Enabled > Yes
Disabled Functions > None
Mbstring Enabled > No
Iconv Available > Yes

Is there something non compatible with Flexicontent ?

Thanks.

Table type is InnoDB... As docs.joomla.org/Technical_requirements said InnoDB support is required for Joomla 3.0, settings seems to do so for a future evolution (despite site is done with Joomla 2.5). What can be done to let Flexicontent works with it ?
