Installation error - "Warning: mysql_num_rows():...

Hello.

I have just installed your extension, and it looks great. However, if I create any new content, the item saves, but does not appear on the content listings. I notice that we have this error message;
"Warning: mysql_num_rows(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /homepages/23/d106591793/htdocs/Joomla/libraries/joomla/database/database/mysql.php on line 344"

How can I fix this, please?

do you create the first section for flexicontent ?

Hello - thanks for your reply. I did what was asked during installation, but am still getting error messages. For example, on accessing the dashboard, the following warning appears; "You have not created any FLEXIcontent menu items, please create at least one menu item for the component to function properly!!!". I do not understand this - create an item in which menu? how do I create such an item?

Hello. Thanks for your advice. I've created a menu item, and can now use some elements of the application. However, when trying to create a new item, I still get the following message "Warning: mysql_num_rows(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /homepages/23/d106591793/htdocs/Joomla/libraries/joomla/database/database/mysql.php on line 344".
I can go through the procedure for creating an item, but on saving and exiting the item editor, the item cannot be seen in the 'items' listing.
