item display

how do i display item on my website. just item not the category of the item. actually i want to display slideshow gallery. it is working but only after i click on the link. please help

here i try to explain as follows.
i have created an imagegallery. it is working fine.. (saw via preview option)
my homepage points to flexicontent category blog.
i have chosen the desired categories. this al is working fine.
i have put imagegallery on the same page (coz its my homepage and i want it there)
but the imagegallery is not getting displayed but the link to the imagegallery is there with its title. and read more option.
i click on the link or read more of imagegallery and its page opens up with the imagegallery working fine.
..
the problem is i want the imagegallery on homepage not its link.
please help me out.

sorry difficult to underdstand ... an image field (galery) is attach to item, you can display it in other place (item or category)
if you want to display an field of an item in other part use universal module

i have done this...
i want to display the image gallery on homepage. but the gallery is not displaying. instead the link to the gallery is displaying with read more option .

to display an image gallery out of all images of 1 item,

configure your image/gallery field to use elasticslide

- create a universal content module
inside the first TAB set "featured" items to ZERO, and select the new template
in "SELECT items" TAB, enable the "item" scope and set the ID of the item
in "SELECT fields" TAB, disable ALL options, except for "Custom fields", where you can add the image/gallery field
