Remove lock from back-end items editing

Hello,

I'm having a problem where items in back-end are reported as locked, however, they are not being edited. What are the parameters by which Flexicontent decides to lock and item and when does it decide to unlock it?

I'm testing these features myself so I know when I'm editing and when I'm not. But the lock doesn't seem to go away even if I'm not on that page.

Does the administrator have the ability to unlock items? Any hints or tutorials on how I can deal with locked items?

Hi Victor,
You are talking about the Joomla checkin system
With the standard Joomla, only superadmin are allowed to perform checkin, but in flexiaccess you can grant a manager or an admin the permissions to perform this task.
Go to components -> flexiaccess -> backend and specific
Then in the General tab allow "Manage global checkin" to the group you wish.
But I discovered recently a usefull component which allows you to perform individual checkin
