File field not working with Joomla 5.2.1

File field not working with Joomla 5.2.1 was created by krae
I updated to Joomla 5.2.1 and the most recent version Flexi on Github and my File Upload field is causing issues.

When I try to create a new or view an existing item that had a File field, I receive the following: An error has occurred.  implode(): Argument #1 ($array) must be of type array, string given. I am able to add/view all other types that do not have a file field.

Attached are the error and my basic field settings. 

Any idea why this is happening?

can you remove sub folder seeting (for testing)
FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?
