Hello!
What the _flexicontent_items_versions table is for?
It's filling up at a tremendous rate.
When I discovered it, there were hundreds of thousands of lines.

tabble version is for each value version of each field

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

Ok, clear.
But the problem is that when versions are enabled this table is filled with thousands of rows, even if we don't change any elements.
The table is filled by itself.

When I enabled versions - db table _flexicontent_versions table is starting to grow rapidly.
Note, that nobody edited items.

yes but if you checked the creating date => that in 2023
this table is growup because that index existing value of all field and item that wait for new save
