flexicontent.css ERROR And Conflict With Templates 09-14-2023 - Can We Fix

A couple of developers who created some other Components have told me to give you a message.

They said that the following FLEXIcontent file is creating conflicts:

/components/com_flexicontent/assets/css/flexicontent.css

Inside the file, there is the following code:

div.current {
border: 1px solid #cccccc;
clear: both;
padding: 10px 10px;
}

They asked if you could add a css selector before the rule to only target the Flexicontent content.

If you add the CSS Selector, then it would prevent conflicts with other components and plugins.

Just wanted to let you know what they said.  :-)

Is this the right place to report this problem?

If there is somewhere else to post this, please let me know.

Right now, I have 2 custom Template over-rides for two different components because of the flexicontent.css issue.  I was hoping that maybe this could be fixed in the next release.

Once again, if this is the wrong place to post this, please let me know.  Where would be the right place to report this ?

hello can you add this
#flexicontent .current {
border: 1px solid #cccccc;
clear: both;
padding: 10px 10px;
}
in your template and say to me if its good ?

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.

Thank you for the fast reply.

I tried to put your code in the template custom CSS...

#flexicontent .current {
border: 1px solid #cccccc;
clear: both;
padding: 10px 10px;
}

However, it does not work. The template errors still happen.

Should I edit the flexicontent.css file and make the changes there ?
