Thanks micker, unfortunately reinstalling FC doesn't do it. I can still reindex if I toggle field searchability on or off so this will have to do for now. Perhaps this will get resolved once we upgrade to Joomla 4.

very strange are you sure that not a plugin problem ?

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?
