Edit unpublished items

I've searched about this issue, but seems no such a result like this.

I set the options for registered users:
edit own: allow
edit state own: allow

The registered users can edit their own items in front-end.
Now users can still edit the item when the item state is Published.

But when users edit the UNPUBLISHED items, it shows:
404
COM_CONTENT_ERROR_ARTICLE_NOT_FOUND

This works well in previous version, but sorry I don't know when it started going wrong.
Now my FC is 3.3.1.5, I updated it from the latest 3.2 today, and I can confirm that it also can't work in the latest 3.2.

Did I miss any permission setting?

hello did you check global acl rules ? maybe we correct a bug and create a new one

Yes I've checked the global acl setting.

In Global:
Edit Own: Allow (It was Inherited, and the Calculated Setting was Not Allowed. I changed it)

In Articles
Edit Own: Allow

But the users still can't edit their own UNPUBLISHED items. There is no problem for users to edit their own PUBLISHED items under these settings
.
If I change the Edit to Allowed in Flexicontent setting, the users can edit UNPUBLISHED own items, but they also can edit items owned by other users. So this is not what I want.

Just wonder why it can be done before. I think I didn't change the setting for a while, and just found it happened recently.

If I missed anything, please let me know.

in a new / clean joomla installation with only Joomla + Flexicontent does it work ?

I will try it later.
But what I'm thinking about is, this worked fine before, and I don't remember I installed and other 3rd parties after that.
Also, only not working on UNPUBLISHED items.

Anyway, I will check if it's like what you say.

Please let me know if you have any other suggestion.

Yes you are right. A clean installation works well. But I have no idea which 3rd party made this happened.
Any idea how to check, or how to fix it?
