Unable to remove content type selector in search results

HI,

I have activated the FC search module, assigned a menu item with the right configuration.

I can modify some part of the configuration but I can't remove the content type selector even if I disable it in the menu settings.

I have been able to remove the label and it ware moved but allow the user selection is set to No and I can still see the drop-down list with all the content types.

If you have enabled per type filters or per type search box for fields

Filters
PER content type configuration (ADVANCED Index)

(or Text search boxes per type)

Then the type selector will remain visible

Maybe we need to show a warning instead of forcing type to be visible
but this will break existing websites

It took me some times to understand where I had to do that because in my settings the search was not (Advanced) but (basic index).

Filters and search per type was not visible. I had to select advanced and then I could change to standard.
