Update temporary item data

Update temporary item data was created by buxtonthebluecat

Joomla 3.9.2
Flexicontent 3.2.1.15

I am unable to access any of my Flexicontext items or articles due to not being able to complete Update temporary item data. The process hangs and nothing appears to be happening.

Having read some of the previous articles concerning this I will hold my hand up and admit to having edited some of the item data directly within the database.

Is there a way to get around this without having to restore from a backup?

did you try to deco reco on joomla administrator ?

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

I have just this minute fixed the issue.

I ran some queries against the database to identify the differences between the content and the flexicontent_items_tmp tables at an item level.

There were differences in both the state, title and alias fields. I must have been a bit "edit happy" at some point.

I ran some updates on the flexicontent_items_tmp table to align these fields with the content table values and I am no longer being prompted to Update temporary table data.

A lesson learned I think.
