Hide content items to all except admins and owner: how to?

Hello
I'm starting a private project where I need to hide on FE all the content items to all users except the item's author and the admin group: a subscribed user (optionally belonging to a group) must be able to post content items from the site FE and view/edit them, but MUST not have view access to any other content item posted by any other user. Is there a way to get this by using a ACL extended plugin or (better) overriding some FC core files?

About owners, 3 steps to configure this

1.  For the user group of authors e.g.  user group "Site authors"
disallow changing access level (ACL privilege in component) , the name of the ACL rule is
Edit Access Level (also in items / cats managers)

2. Create a new access level e.g. name it "Admin only" that is granted only to "Super user" and "Administrators"
and set it as default access level (Global Joomla config inside Site Tab)

3. Create "My items"  menu item , this menu item will ignore access level for authors, and list all items authored by the current user

So simple, so effective
I was not aware of My Items function...
