Hi,

We updated yesterday FC to 3.1.0 we can't upload images.

The image field is in DB mode.

When I upload an image I got the following message: Filename: Upload complet Item saved

and also the following notice: Image/Gallery field: 'Visuel', some values of this field have been skipped: [ packshot-TheHereAfter-DVD-NL.png ], because the original file seems to have been deleted (thumbnailing of it has failed).
This message will go away once you save this content item

In the file manager I can see the file name but no thumb, when I open the file it says the access level is wrong and I have to set it to public. I tried bu no change.

Any suggestions?

Just some more infos, it seems to be a case sensibility problem. I found the file on the server and modified the case to match the name (when uploaded all was transformed in lowercase but not the link) and now it works)

So my turnaround for the moment is to avoid uploading images with uppercase letters in the name.

But needs to be corrected.

Hello

I have made a fix

if you want to apply test fix now, in image file field
plugins/flexicontent_fields/image/image.php

Replace:
Code:
$filepath = JPath::clean(COM_FLEXICONTENT_FILEPATH.DS.strtolower($filename));
with:
Code:
$filepath = JPath::clean(COM_FLEXICONTENT_FILEPATH.DS.$filename);

Hello

also note that this UI of image field in DB-mode,
will be replaced in near future with the "multi-uploader UI" that you see

- filemanager
- image field in "folder mode"
- file / minigallery field
