[SOLVED] Relation Field and Item Selection

Hello,
Following a new installation and creation of relational field to populate a list, I can select the category on which the field is defined, but it does not create item list to select from. Can you please advise if there is something else to set.

I have followed your article on book & writer www.flexicontent.org/documentation/faq/7...-reverse-fields.html , but still having the same issue.

Please can you assist.

- remember than in item form (whiling editin a content item)
you need to select a category , and then the item list will be populated,

you have v3.0.1-rc2a right ?

what does it do, exactly ?
e.g.
- after selecting a category, you see the loading animation forever ? and the item list does not get created
- after selecting a category, the loading animation stops after some seconds but the item list is empty ?

Yes I am using v3.1.0-rc2a as in pic6 attached.
After selecting the category, nothing happens. The Item says blank as in pic 7 attached with no animation. The Item created is type package as defined in the field. Pics I sent earlier.

The same happens for all relational fields I create.

the picture shows that there is a javascript error,
during the page loading

since somethings is breaking the page loading, this issue is maybe not at relation field,

do you know how to find the javascript errors ?

open page in firefox and click CTRL-SHIFT-K and go to "Console" TAB
there you should be able to see the javascript error
