Hello

initial opacity (transparency) for the input field should be 0.5 , there is some CSS conflict in the web-site

we will replace old method for placeholder text with the HTML 'placeholder' TAG parameter
trying to maintain IE8 / IE9 placeholder display compatibility is not worth it

Hello

you can test the change:

this is the "3.0.x-stable" branch at GitHub
github.com/FLEXIcontent/flexicontent-cck/tree/3.0.x-stable

click "Download ZIP" and install in an development / testing site (although this branche receives only fixes, there maybe a new bug)

then post back to confirm the fix
