Problem with 404 errors in backend Joomla screens

I recently migrated a Joomla 3..4.8 site that uses Flexicontent version 3.0.8 to a Hostpapa server. After migration, the site worked fine in the front end and in the back end I am able to edit Fexicontent items that previously existed on the site, however I am having problems when I try to add new items. When I click on the "Add Item" button there is a 404 Category not found error. This also occurs if I try to add an file or an image to the item. The modal window opens, but instead of seeing a form to download a file or image, there is a 404 error message displayed. Once the error message is displayed I am unable to properly access any page in the front or back end of the site (using the same browser) until my session as a logged in user has expired. if I try to navigate to a page in the backend I get more 404 errors and if I navigate to a page in the front end the page, after taking a long time to load, displays without any styling whatsoever and with broken image links. Again this lasts only temporarily. My best guess is that it lasts only until my logged in session times out.

I have looked exhaustively and I am unable to find any indication that someone else may be experiencing a similar problem, and to be honest I am at a complete loss as to why this is happening or how I might correct the problem. Any help would be appreciated. Let me know if more information is required.

i recommend to update to 3.0.10 RC2 on github

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

Hello

maybe something was corrupted with transfer or it is because of different with MySQL / PHP configuration

you have not mentioned your PHP and MySQL version

Thank you, I did update to 3.0.9-rc6c because it was all I was able to find. Unfortunately the problems persist. I will try to look for and install 3.0.10 RC2 .

This is a screen shot of what I get after clicking the "Add " button when trying to create a new item:

This is a screen shot of what the front end home page looks like after the 404 error:

There is a slight change from before the update. Previously the images would not load on the homepage. Now they are loading.

If it helps, my PHP version is 5.5.30 and MySQL version is 5.5.47

Hello

the problem is not that item form is broken,
- instead there is something else broken in your website

it may not be related to FLEXIcontent

- do the other flexicontent views work:
type, field, category edit form ?

I am able to create new categories, types and fields without getting the 404 error I get when trying to use the item editor to create new items.
