Dear,

we have an issue with the basic indexing.
The site is Joomla 3.4.8 and Flexicontent is on version 3.0.8.

When running an advanced re-index, everything seems to work normally. When re-indexing the basic index, nothing happens. The screen remains stalled at the following screen

attachment 1

When we close the pop-up window we are sent back to the administrator loginscreen
We are not sure when this started.

Using the Flexicontent search module we can use the inital search (hitting go button) but we get the results in double. But trying another search in this results screen gives no more results (even when using the same search word)

Website is : 11ri.arc3c.be

I will send you a superadmin in a PM message.

Best regards,

Geert

Hello

first please use v3.0.9rc6c
www.flexicontent.org/downloads/latest-version.html
it is good release without new bugs compared to v3.0.8

Dear,

Update executed. Result is still the same form the reindex of the basic index.
Search returns no longer any result (but basic indicates that 98 field have dirty properties: - 98 - field(s) have a 'dirty' property: (Content Lists 'Text Search') .

Best regards,

Geert

Hello

during indexing FLEXIcontent needs to save up to half of MB (500 KBytes) into the Joomla User session
aka into the Database table _session

but in your case the "data" column type is "text" aka max 64KBytes
- normally (in joomla default DB schema) this would be "mediumtext" aka max 16MBytes

any idea why joomla table is not as expected ?

Hello

i have already tested a workaround for this

but i am asking if you know about the "data" column because i want to know if this is not an uncommon case

[update]
the 64K was from older joomla versions, i wondered if this is not uncommon

Hello

- it is fixed now it will work even if Joomla session table 'data' column is not the expected "mediumtext" size
