[SOLVED] Cannot hide title of an item

Hi,

I think I have a bug with one of my flexicontent item : I don't want the title to be displayed:
on the tab "Displaying" of the article I clicked on "Show Title : Hide" but the title always remains... :dry:

Is there a solution to solve this??

(always mention Joomla version and FC also note we can no longer provide answers for FC v2.x)

2 reasons for showing
- that setting effects the showing of title via parameter
but if you add title into a template position it will still show

- also the above parameter is for item view not for listings (category view, etc)
for category view there is a component / category parameter "Show title in lists"

please use v3.0.8 or v3.0.9-rc6a

I upgraded flexicontent to last version 3.8 but it didn't solve the problem.
I checked what you said :
1) there is no title field added in the template of this article
2) article is shown with item view, not category view

Do you have any other ideas?

if items display via direct menu items, then check if this is the title of the menu items

The show title parameter is set inherited in 3 places:
- component parameter
- overridable by type parameter (in Item type edit form)
- overridable by item parameter (in Item form)

can you check all 3 ?
