Editor (JCE or TinyMCE) layout "broken" (much too large) with front-end editing

Hi,

I have two sites with Flexi v3.0.2.
In those two sites, the layout of the editor is broken (much too large) with front-end editing (JCE and TinyMCE).

I tried to play with the predefined CSS in Flexi's configuration (which is max-width:800px; by default), but this does not solve the problem : it indeed changes the width of the rest, but not of the editor itself.

I had even thought of a "conflict" with the template, but I don't think so because the two sites use completely different template of two different providers
• one is Joomlart of 2 years ago (bootstrap 2, …)
• the other is based on Helixv3 by JoomShaper, which is very recent (bootstrap 3, …)

So I think the problem is quite general and may arise with other users as well !
Herafter, some screenshots

Txs,

Marc

Hello

the container of the extra editor buttons is forced to nowrap behaviour due to FLEXIcontent CSS

test this fix, edit file:
plugins/flexicontent_fields/textarea/textarea.php
replace:
Code:
<div class="nowrap_box fc_txtarea" style="width: 100%;">
with:
Code:
<div class="fc_txtarea" style="width: 100%;">

will include fix in v3.0.3

Hi !

Txs a lot for the quick reaction and the solution.
It almost works, I mean :
* good news : now the width of the editor is correct
* bad news : but still, the label "description" comes to the left of the text editor (I guess it should come before, so that the text editor would take the full width of 100%)

see screenshot hereafter.

And txs again for the solution you provided !

Hello

inside the description field,
there is a paremeter for item form label, to
float it, clear it , or hide it

in your case you should probably hide it

Hi Georgios,

I first tried with
#label_fcfield_1 {
display: none !important;
}

and then only I understood what you meant :
champs > Description > Edition > Champ formulaire > Afficher l'étiquette > NON
:-)
Works great now !
Txs again,
Mrc
