Fancybox popup circa 3.0v Beta 5a

The fancybox image popup isn't working in item view - please see attached image of what occurs.

This appears to have stopped working possibly coincident with loading Version 3.0 Beta 5a or earlier.

The fancybox effect does work but only when using a custom template that was made before loading Beta 5a. So doesn't appear to be plugin. Changing type or use any of the default templates doesn't change it.

Possible javascript error but appears to be in Flexi template - it works with pages using the old template, but not with new templates. Pages are otherwise identical.

On localhost.

Hello

do you get an HTML error ?

try clicking CTRL-F5 or similar to get latest JS/CSS loaded

- we add jQuery based easing,

the easing is included inside file:

components/com_flexicontent/assets/js/tmpl-common.js

after doing CTRL-F5 or similar and it still does not work:

1. do view source in your browser,
search for "tmpl-common.js"
do you see this ?:
components/com_flexicontent/assets/js/tmpl-common.js

2. open browser console before clicking on an a thubmnail that is previewed via fancybox, click it, do you see a JS error inside the console ?

Hi. Thanks for the reply.

No change with Control F5 and no HTML error that would relate to what is occuring.

tmpl-common.js: not found on Beta 5a pages. Does exist on working "old" custom template pages.

When clicking on image new Java Script error:

Empty string passed to getElementById().
TypeError: m.easing[this.easing] is not a function

Thanks for the reply on this.

I have done a clean install of Joomla 3.4 with default Joomla template and Flexicontent V3 Beta 5a and the same phenomena i.e. Fancybox popup is not working as described. Same JS error report and missing js file in page source.

Everything is default and same error occurs.

hello,

use multibox,
or wait for next BETa
or you can add in your Joomla
Code:
<script src="components/com_flexicontent/assets/js/tmpl-common.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

make sure the path is correct, do a "view HTML source" in your browser and click the link to make sure it is correct
