Hi, i'm lost all day trying to work with Flexicontent and K2 component at same site but its imposible  .

I have the latest versions of Joomla, flexi and k2. After installing the demo version of joomla and k2 on fresh local site and import the content, I created a blog type menu to display the items of k2 and everything works, but when I install flexiconent and active plugins Items on the homepage disappear.

I tried to disable flexicontent plugins and it works.

Is it a compatibility issue with k2?

Thanks a lot.

Hello

with the info you gave it is not possible to answer you

-- what is type of the home page ?
you homepage menu item is:
- Joomla category view
- K2 category view
- FLEXIcontnet category view
- Joomla article item
- K2 item
other ?

what does it disappear ?
the modules ?

if your home page is a Joomla article then you are redirected to FLEXIcontent item view, which is a different menu item

1. configure module assignments of for the FLEXIcontent menu item (if you have created none then it is the default inside the FLEXIcontent Hidden Menu)

2. To make item description , etc appear go to FLEXIContent templates, edit ITEM LAYOUT of "default" template and add fields into positions

Hello, thank you for such a quick response.

In my game website k2 is used for reviews and flexicontent for news that are of various platforms.

I have migrated both components from version joomla 1.5 to 3.3.6 and from the part of administration looks all right, everything works well.

The template I use currently supports k2, so I want to keep this component only for reviews.

Because my site not working correctly showing k2 category item menu, i decide to create a test site with demo content with the latest versions of both components and joomla 3.3.6.

I followed these steps to find the problem:

1 - Install joomla with demo content.
2 - Install k2 and import content.
3 - Create a menu type k2 category (Blog).

At this point if you access the menu looks good, but if you install flexicontent and publish the plugin, the items disappear.

Flexiplugins diabled.

Flexiplugins enabled.

Thanks a lot for support.

Hello

FLEXIcontent will not redirect any category view

can you enable the "Error Reporting" parameter in Joomla Global config ?

set it to "maximum" and visit the frontend to check if any PHP message appears
