Hi;

In Global Flexicontent options I have Show Title = Yes
In my articles I have Show Title = Global but they are not showing.

I checked Joomla Content options and Show Title = Yes.
If I print out the parameters it has [show_title] => 0

Is there somewhere else that can over ride the show_title parameter?

Thanks!

Hello

if you mean in category view,

then please note that it is over-written by parameter "show title in lists"

so you should go to TAB "Content Lists" of component parameters

Same for "Link Titles" in category view it is over-written by parameter "Link title in lists"

Actually I meant in Item view.

When I go go configuration->Content Lists "Show Title (in lists) is set to Show. And so it is in the Category.

The problem the client has is that they have most menu's set to Show Page Heading but will sometimes get two titles, or no titles when switching language. and they have made a mess by having some articles show titles and some not.

If I set the individual article to Show Title, it shows. But I have thousands of articles. I was hoping to do this globally and give them a system they can follow.

ok so you mean item view

but you have forgotten of parameters in content types,

you can set this and other parameters in each content type,

always avoid setting parameters in items, unless really needed

Arrr, totally forgot there were parameters in the content type. And Show Titles was set to Hide.

Thank you!
