I am on Joomla 3 - and have tried to install FlexiContent - I consistently get this error:
Code:
Fatal error: Class 'ZipArchive' not found in /home/webzones/public_html/flexicontent/components/com_flexicontent/classes/flexicontent.helper.php on line 5443

Yet, the install itself says it's successful.

Thanks
Jim

where did you download package ?
did you test on local serveur ?

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

Hello

if you search the forum you will see this has been answered, in several threads

-- ZipArchive is required it is enabled in 98% of servers by default

-- for temporary solution:

then you may contact your webhost to enable support for "zipArchive" !!

My apologies. I did originally try searching the forums but unfortunately put too much in the search field.

After I wrote this post, I again tried to search and then I searched JUST on

ZipArchive

(instead of a good portion of the error message) and found the answer.

I contacted my hosting provider and then rebuilt php for me with ZipArchive included.

Thanks
Jim
