Troubles with toolbar field default CSS

Bonjour,
Merci.

Hi,
I use 2 different toolbar fields, and the one in trouble is the one at the end of description.
Everything was working fine until update to FC 2.2
Now the toolbar (only social buttons) is showing on a so small part of screen that the buttons go on 2 rows and over the field below...
Any idea ?
Thanks.

Hello

how are you displaying the toolbar twice ?

via a custom template ?

First, I have created a second toolbar (duplicate).
And I configured it to show only social buttons.
Then I placed this 2nd toolbar (named differently) in the default Template but also in several custom templates (after the description).
All of them were working perfectly fine before the FlexiContent update/upgrade.
Since it doesn't work well anymore, I've tried different places in the templates, but the problem remains : I don't know why, but the container is so small that the buttons cannot show inline...

EDIT : I found the solution.
I commented the lines #94 and #100 of toolbar.css
(lines written par enjoyman)
They were saying width:140px; ... which was definitely too small to display social buttons...
toolbar.css can be found in : plugins/flexicontent_fields/toolbar/toolbar

I leave this post open for a while just in case you want to tell me something else.

Hello

you also commented out
float:left;

.flexi-socials-outside {
...
/*float:left;*/
...
}

is there a reason for this ?

about
width:140px;
will remove it

if someone needs to specify such a custom with then he should place it inside custom CSS file so that it effects only his/her website

Do you mean any change I make in my toolbar.css could involve changes for other-s users ???

In the meanwhile, waiting for your response, I de-commented out the float-left instruction. The reason I commented it out at the beginning was that I don't like the way the toolbar appear. But commenting or not this line doesn't resolve my problem (I would prefer the toolbar to appear completely clear of other elements: I thought that maybe de-commenting out the clear: both line would make my tollbar appear completely alone on its line, but... no, it doesn't change nothing).

About the custom css : sorry for my poor level (I work as hard as I can but... still too poor), but please tell me :
- should I create a custom.css and save it in the same folder? (is the system going to guess it has to read it too or do I have to 'declare' this new custom.css somewhere?)
OR:
- if not, how am I supposed to do?

pour le custom.css => c'est lier à ton template
tu peus aussi créer un flexicontent.css dans ton dossier_template/css pour créer une surcharge
