# do not allow direct access and also deny scripts <FilesMatch ".*"> Order Allow,Deny Deny from all </FilesMatch> OPTIONS -Indexes -ExecCGI

after i disabled the restrictions in config of field

a.)Prevent access to original images

Hello

you report this like there is a bug ?
-- you are supposed to use a specific folder for the field
-- not to use /images/ folder

the purpose is to protect the original images from being copied,
the feature does what it say it protect access to the folder that you have configured

-- this will be a bug if you have not set /images/ folder as the folder of the image field

so did you put the folder in field configuration or you put some other folder, but the .htaccess was created in wrong folder ??

Hello, tank you for explanation,
in field properies->Field specific properties->Thumbnail creation:
images/stories/flexicontent
hmm..default image is:
images/logo.png ... i will change this

in global config:

Path to secure files folder:
components/com_flexicontent/uploads
Path to media files folder:
components/com_flexicontent/medias

Import Manager Configuration:

Media Folder
(used by image/gallery fields, etc)
tmp/
Document Folder
(used by file fields, etc)
tmp/fcimport_docs

htaccess is in:
images\
and
images\stories\flexicontent\item_194_field_22\original

there are 2 fields for image with thumbnail folder set to:
1 folder mode:
images/stories/flexicontent
1 db mode:
images/stories/flexicontent

at the moment is working with htaccess...

Hey!

if i choose in image field(no matter folder/db)
default image:upload it,then insert->no problem with htaccess
if i choose file already there in images/->problem.403 for subfolders too

so never use image already there(images/
always upload!then insert
because all images should be in flexicontent folder!

if htaccess is located in
images/stories/flexicontent/
and
images/stories/flexicontent/itemXXfieldXX/original

...no problem!!
