frontpage turns into login box after installation

After installing flexicontent my public frontpage can only be used by logging in as a registered user as frontpage now only shows the Joomla login form page not my home page article. How do i make the front page public again?

flexicontent doesn't use frontpage option
1 create a home category
2 assign item to your category and home if you want at home

check access for your type categorie item

this should not happen, but since your installation is very new, simply uninstall FLEXIcontent component to see if it related, (this will delete FLEXIcontent data, but your installation is new so you will not loose any FLEXIcontent type/fields data), then after doing this you may reinstall FLEXIcontent

what is FLEXIcontent version/revision ?
what is your Joomla version

About HOME page menu item
1. Did you install any other extensions or did you edit home page menu item recently ?

2. what is the menu item type of your frontpage ?
e.g. it is Joomla Category view ?
e.g. it is Joomla Frontpage view ?

3. what is the language of the menu item and it's access level, does it have language association

also please clear cache once
