Is there a way to publish flechicontent archived content as a menu item — either blog or list— in version 2.1.0 r1720?

We are currently only able to publish the archived content with the com_content archived function, but this does not show the flexicontent fields

Searching the forum on the subject has been inconclusive: it seems that the only option would be to create a normal category and just dump the content there

Any help would be appreciated

Hello

1. are you using J1.5 ?

2. did you try to create a "single item" and find your archive item and link to it ?
it is possible to do this in v2.1.2+ for J2.5 +

For J1.5 you may try to edit file:
administrator/components/com_flexicontent/views/itemelement/view.html.php

and remove (or comment out) the line:
Code:
$where[] = ' i.state != -1';

Regards

Hello: many thanks for your prompt answer
  • We are running Joomla 2.5.19
  • We managed to publish a com_content archive menu item
  • The Flexicontent system plugin is not redirecting the links from the above component to a flexicontent article, we found out that the flexicontent categories are not being considered (their ID numbers are way above the limit set of root ( 0-75))

Any help on either solving the problems with the categories, or publishing a flexicontent menu item of archived content is appreciated
