Hello,

I have an Extended Weblink in my type.

in this field when entering an url address a "/" is systemacally added before the address after saving the article.

Then On front-end the url home address of my site is added. Of course I get a 404 error.

My FC version is V1840.

What can I do to solve it ?

thank you for help

best regards

Michel

Hello

1. it is an existing field, or new a field that you just created?

2. then please

configure/experiment with parameters of the field that effect the URL

thus we can identify if this is an intended behavior according to current field configuration.

Hello,

It's an old field.

I have just upgraded FC from a 1 year old version to FC V1840

I have tried different parameters about relative addresses autorised or not, adding http:// automatically or not...

I get alway a '/' before the url address.

Do you need a super admin access ?

best regards

Hello

- you have relative URL turned ON

when you do not add http:// in front of your URLs then it is assumed that they are relative to your website address

so / is added if it does not exist already

1. either turn OFF parameter "Allow relative URLs"
2. or always add http:// in your URLs

-- but this (allow relative URLs) is OFF by default, did you at some time enable it ?

Regards
