Hi I am trying to find out how I can unassign some field type from item types. They appear at the frontend submission form and makes it really crowded. Thank you.

What fields are you talking about?

Different fields have different configuration :) if you tell us which ones would be easier.

textarea
text
imagegallery fields.

They appear on the frontend submission form. When a user wants to submit a form, user selects item type.
dependign on the item type the user selected, the fields should appear accordingly. is this possible or am i asking too much? :)

Hello

1. you can set ACL "create items" privilege in Content Types (by default it is given to ALL users)
... so allow your users to create 3 out of the 5 existing content types

2. then in your submit menu item item, DO NOT set a specific Content Type

-- thus your users will be asked a Content Type when they click the submit menu item, try / test it

-- Flexicontent is Free but involves a big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite having a long list of functions) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

This is exactly what I have done and solved the problem like a charm! Thank you.
