I´m interested on control what users see what tabs (as meta/seo, template) on the item form. Is this possible?

Unless otherwise indicated:
Joomla 3.8.1
Flexicontent 3.2.1.7

yes you can :
-global config : item form
-in your link menu you can override it

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

No luck, the only options for item form are:

Items (Item edit Form): set params
Items (Item edit Form): use versions
Items (Item edit Form): associate any translation
Items (Item edit Form): edit creation date

Where set params handle the "publish" tab (one I want to keep), and as I understand, the other three options don´t handle meta/seo neither template.

Hello

for backend item form -similar options to what is available for frontend item form- should exist, to simplify it too.

Just, since usually your users will use frontend item form, this was left to be done later, will do when we simplify frontend form further (provide more configuration parameters: Component and per content type)
