Imagemap was created by Dias
Hi everyone

I have a problem and would like to know if anyone can help me.

I have FLEXIContent 2.1.1 over Joomla 2.5.16 and I'm trying to create an Imagemap in an article.

<img src="mymap.gif" usemap="#Map" border="0" alt="My Map" name="Map01" /><map name="Map">
<area shape="rect" ..... />
</map></p>

The problem is, whenever I save it the "usemap" tag disappears and all that stays there is
<img src="mymap.gif" border="0" alt="My Map" name="Map01" /><map name="Map">
<area shape="rect" ..... />
</map></p>

Can anyone tell how to fix it?

Thank you very much for any help.

Hello

try disabling you WYISWYG editor
or
go to the configuration of your WYISWYG editor (e.g JCE) and set it to allow the tag, also make sure that the HTML you enter is correct

Thank you ggppdk

I write it not in WYSIWYG editor but on HTML editor. When I save it the usemap tag disappears.

And, yes, the tag is correct.

Where can I find the configuration of the editor? Maybe that's the solution. Where is it?

Hello

1. WYSIWYG => "What You See Is What You Get"

An WYSIWYG editor edits HTML , it is an HTML editor but WYSIWYG editor, is more appropriate term

2. this is total not related to FLEXIcontent, this is an WYSIWYG / HTML editor question

-- you are asking support for a non - FLEXIcontent extension

so you should be asking this in a forum for Joomla and/or for tinymce or JCE editor

a. either disable your WYSIWYG (HTML) editor

b. or configure your editor not to remove it (e.g. for JCE visit JCE backend configuration)

c. for JCE you can try using an add-on:

extensions.joomla.fr/extensions/ ... pour-jce-2
