Hello

I have a J2.5 FC v1798.

I have no problem with Universal module except when using IE8 : the height of the image is good but the width is not respected (just some pixels width).

The url address : naouri-market.com/

Is there a special way to use Universal module with IE8 ?

Ps : when changing the compatibility mode the display is worth.

Thank you for advices

best regards

Michel

Hello

we use JS to detect height, to tallest element, scroll all list do you have 1 that is as much as tall as the current container height? then behavior is correct, try cutting text or using css to force specific height on some fields,

other try using an !important CSS rule to force a specific height to the container of the items

thank you

I have added manually the image width in the <div class="image_standard">. Now it's working.

Hello

so your images are not of same size (e.g. most images are 200 but you have some that are 300),

but the carousel uses the height of tallest item ...

I understand.

My problem is the following :
I have 2 types of articles :
Promotion : 'image' field (150x200) this field is used in the image parameter of the Universal module
Pdf promotion : 'image_pdf' field (800x300) and text field which content the address of a pdf file.In this type I have no 'image' field. the text displayed is the 'image_pdf' field with an hyerlink to open the ped file
.

As the width of the site is flexible. I have defined the image width manually to 100%.
This is working with modern browsers but not with IE8 browser (which I suppose doesn't accept the pourcentage width).

I have done a modification in the display : in the first type of articles I have obliged the width to be 150px and in the pdf case I have suppressed the width parameter.

As these displays are not the definitive ones and as the problem arrives only on IE8, I think it's not necessary to change anything more.

Thank you for you help

best regards
