Hi! I'm new here and so far I'm impressed by flexicontent in comparison to other CCK. Here's the problem - I need to move my old website from another cms to joomla with flexi so I'll be working on my localhost denwer to move articles from one website to another. But every time I move cms to another folder (share it to other people I'm working with) thumbnails uploading stops working (everything else works just fine).

It keeps telling me this:

phpThumb() v1.7.11-201108081537
phpthumb.sourceforge.net

Error messages disabled

phpThumb() v1.7.11-201108081537 in file "phpthumb.class.php" on line 216

setSourceFilename(Z:\home\192.168.1.8\www\images\f_scr\item_3_field_15\original\the-binding-of-isaac-rebirth-teaser.png) set $this->sourceFilename to "Z:\home\192.168.1.8\www\images\f_scr\item_3_field_15\original\the-binding-of-isaac-rebirth-teaser.png" in file "phpthumb.class.php" on line 262

How can I solve this problem? Because if I'll move this website to a real hosting it will bi like this again.

Thank you! :)

Hello,

by default debuging in phpThumb is disabled

-- edit file:
components/com_flexicontent/libraries/phpThumn/phpThumb.config.php

find line (about 196):
$PHPTHUMB_CONFIG = true;
and change to
$PHPTHUMB_CONFIG = false;

Hi ggppdk!

Already did. The error is:

Z:/home2.168.1.8/www/images/f_scr/item_3_field_15/original/36481227.jpg" does not exist

I don't know why the path is that strange though.
By the way, I tried a temporary solution from another post:

var $config_allow_src_above_docroot = true;

and it didn't help.

It can't be something else because it's a clear installation - only joomla + flexicontent.

Hello

so is this path correct?

(you know your folder structure and i don't)
so which part of this path is wrong ?

what should the correct path be?
i ask in order to know where you need to change configuration
e.g. we have path variable in image field, which is relevant to Joomla Root folder

The correct path is:

Z:\home\192.168.1.8\www\images\f_scr\item_3_field_15\original\36481227.jpg

and in error it's

Z:/home2.168.1.8/www/images/f_scr/item_3_field_15/original/36481227.jpg

By the way, main image was uploaded to the right folder but no thumbnails were created. Everything was fine until I changed the name from

Z:\home\mgjoom to Z:\home\192.168.1.8

Since then thumbnails don't work :(

So it should be:

Z:/home/192.168.1.8/www/images/...

but it is (wrongly)
Z:/home2.168.1.8/www/images/...

notice that 19 was removed from path,

Try these:
1. Edit your change configuration AND DO NOT use \ but use / when righting the path
e.g. instead of:
Z:\home\192.168.1.8
enter:
Z:/home/192.168.1.8

2. can you try not starting a folder name with a number ?
