Hello,

It is somewhat embarrassing to ask for assistance with a product that is provided free of charge - and also I am am aware of the shallowness of my knowledge - so please forgive me! Everything about FC smacks of professionalism.

I have no prior knowledge of CCK systems so it is all very new and frightening...

My issue is: I had a hard time trying to get the All Videos plugin working but eventually I was able to find info on the topic and get the plugin to work.

But there is still something obviously wrong with my configuration. What has happened is: I created a Field which I called "All Videos BRYAN" -somehow this got classified as a "core" field type [even though there is no such type in the drop down list].

When I realised it probably should not be of that type I tried to delete it which it will not let me do.

I then created another field "All Videos BG" as a field type "text" which correctly appears at the foot of my editor screen.

Hope I'm explaining this clearly.

Do you have a donation facility?

Best regards,
Bryan

Hello,
please go to the fields manager and tell us what is the id of this field (ID is the most-right column)

Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite having a long list of functions) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

The Core Fields are basically the core Joomla article fields.
Title, Description, Creation Date, Created By, etc.
These core fields exist by default, there is no need to create them.
And because these fields are required, you cannot delete them.

So my guess is that you modified one of the existing core fields such as the Description field.

If you do not want to display that field,
go to your template and drag that field off the template.

Just because a field exists does not mean it will display.
Which fields display is based on the template settings.

Thank you for your replies. You asked for the ID - it is "2"

By the way that field is not actually causing me a a problem as it does not appear anywhere - I just didn't know if it COULD cause me a problem.

Hello,
field 2 is the "Created" (date) field, you mean that its label is wrong ?

In the field row does it say that it is of type "CORE- created"
if so then Just restore the Label of it to be "Created"
