Hi,

After doing some changes in fields configuration, i get the following error/warnings from FC:
- 10 - field(s) have a 'dirty' property: (Content Lists 'Text Search') . Please recalculate the -BASIC- Search Index once !!!
- 9 - field(s) have a 'dirty' property: (Search View 'Text Searchable OR Filterable') . Please recalculate the -ADVANCED- Search Index once !!!

But the problem, is that if i try to go to the search view of the admin panel i get a half blank page. See attached screenshot.

So my first question is: what does this mean exactly as these are new errors that i never saw in previous FC releases.
And second, how can i fix that?

thanks

Dirty is what is more or less what is says a new field is marked as text-searchable then it must be included in search-index, if a field is unmarked as text-searchable then it must be removed from search-index records of each item

I see that the preview listing of search index has failed,

-- frontend speed of search is optimized
-- rebuild speed is also optimized

but i feel backend listing query is problematic, how many Content items (articles) do you have totally?

That's the thing, i only have 14 items. I had just started to enter my content.
I happened to me a first time, but i was able to access the search view, and managed to re-index. But i then made a change to a field (i can't recall which one though) and it did it again.
Accepted that now, i can't manage to access the search view anymore. I get the same half page as my initial screenshot.

is there a way to empty the index manually. What if i empty the table _flexicontent_advsearch_index directly in the database? Will that create some errors/problems somewhere else?

This is strange do you have this site on local or an online server?

if you have then send me a PM with access, there maybe a rare bug here?

Regards

well, after uploading the site to a online server for you, i was able to access the search view of FC admin panel and was able to hit the "re-index" button and all is good now.

I guess its coming from my local set-up. I'm running MAMP 2.1.1. I check my php settings and i saw that the "max_execution_time" is at 30.
I'm not sure if that is the problem.

What do you think?
