error msg - FLEXI_ERROR_STORING_ITEM

we have a problem saving articles in the administration-area. following error appears:
Fehler beim Speichern des Inhalts (FLEXI_ERROR_STORING_ITEM)

when we look in the code, the error is initiated here:

if (!$asset->check() || !$asset->store($updateNulls)) {
$this->setError($asset->getError());
return false;
}
/administrator/component/com_flexicoentent/tables/flexicontent_items.php - line 419

we think it s an db-issue, as on our developing server everything works fine.
is there a way to set the initial permission?

Is it possible that a faulty asset allocation can lead to memory overflow on the server when executing a SQL? Has anyone can observed this?

e.g. a loop in category tree
