Hi

( J1.5.26 with Flexicontent build 1601)
I have a frontend submission form for authors. but the form doesn't check required fields and saves the item without checking for field values.
items are being saved without any values for those required fields.

[EDIT]
AND I don't know if it is related to this problem or no, but even without entering anything in any field when I click save , the pages reloads and none of the options that I set in the menu is being ignored, like:
Displayed categories , Default Main Category , Optional button and nearly any options that I set in the submit menu. Also the cancel button just doesn't work.

But when I enter the title "only" , the article saves! and the item doesn't close (even with cancel button)

I've read the thread about mootools upgarde but my mootools plugin is disabled.
flexicontent.org/forum/index.php?f=21&t=...v=viewtopic&start=10
I have no problem in backend.

Thanks
Regards

Can you try a basique template ? For exclude javascript conflict

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

Hello,

If you have a Joomla template override please rename it temporarily and test.

After doing the above check if you your browser reports Javascript errors

Hi!

Thank you so much for your support.

When I checked JavaScript errors I realized that the JavaScript and some css files that supposed to be loaded from administrator folder (due to protected admin folder) didn't load. I (temporarily) copied the assets folder to the root and edited the references in the form template and it's ok.

isn't it possible to re validate required field in server side?(because you can bypass it in client side if you want to enable the submission to public)

Thanks again for this great extension
Regards
