HI,

Whatever number I type into:
# Leading [] in category view.

The number doesn't change, it always reverts to the old value. I have tried making new categories - and same issue.

FLEXIContent - 2.0 - RC9 r1514
J2.5.7

Thanks,

R0bert

This parameter exists in the blog template parameters for the category layout,

do you have the blog template or do you have a copy of it, can you try with the original blog template?

Hi,

Thanks - the original blog category also doesn't work.

This graphic shows what the steps I do:

mmm, cannot reproduce this locally,

do this change template passing all templates, without saving and checking if some other copy of blog template has value: 99

... the parameter with exists in other template with same name, BUT normally it is disabled, or maybe there is some other issue with saving process, i have made a small change/fix to this , but i don't think it relevant

You can send me a PM with admin, to examine this , since it sounds like a bug (also tell me which category id to open to see the problem)

You category edit form is broken, because you have one or more custom templates with broken XML files (category.xml)

-- backup your custom templates
-- and delete your custom templates
-- clean cache and visit category edit form to verify it is working

-- then restore your custom template from your backup and find and correct problematic category.xml
-- maybe recopy CORE template instead of trying to fix existing one, since they have useful updates
