I install build 1486 and it's fixed.



Yes they have privilege but can't edit or manage category.

other problem

When create new authors it's not show in authors list but user show normally in joomla user manager.

the items column by default has a filter value, so that only users with one or more items, will be listed, so your new user is not listed because the user has no items

1. i will add a usability notice for this to warn of filter being active

2. When a new user is created we could change the value of the filter so that all users are shown, maybe do this too ? thinking

I don't know why it's seem rule not assign

i ll check and restore previous behavior, i tried porting the behavior of J2.5,

the edit privilege on the category (aka the edit item's privilege), but this will add more confusion that usefulness
