I'm trying to activate the submission workflow to allow simple contributors to ask an administrator to get their content published. -> Flexicontent RC8 1475.
I succeed getting the "Ask validation" ("Demande de validation") button but I can't send content to validation.
I got this message (in french)
Aucun élement soumis à approbation. 1 éléments exclus*.
* Attention!!! Vous ne pouvez soumettre à approbation que vos PROPRES articles, et uniquement ceux qui sont à l'état 'BROUILLON'.
Because my content are automatically set to "Not published" instead of "Draft :: not published" (even if I've configured it this way in the Parameters menu) when I save the content the first time.
I haven't found where to correct this problem, can you help me?
You are right it is set to wrong state that is why it is denied to you.
Very soon (just a few days) there will be available next revision of FLEXIcontent (currently being tested), which provides much more powerful and detailed workflow notifications:
But this manual approval request is also useful and covers specific needs and i ll fix it ASAP, possibly provide more configuration options for it
