In later revisions have added parameter for "grouping" images, the available options allow
- no grouping - per item (default)
- per category
- per module

OK, I will try this new version.
I use also the gallery field.
in the blog view I can select an image from Image field or from content. it could be an enhancement to select an image from the gallery field (the first image ?)
