How do I turn off flexicontent?

How do I turn off flexicontent? was created by webrep315

I installed com_flexicontent_v2.0_RC5_r1338.zip for joomla 2.5 and everything on my frontpage disappeared (modules).

I'd like to disable to turn off flexicontent until I can either learn more about it or fix the issue.

Anyone able to point me in the right direction?

nevermind. uninstall worked fine. I'll have to use flexi in another directory to test and learn

Flexicontent is a different component than com_content, but it should not effect e.g. com_frontpage, maybe you have set a flexicontent link e.g. category view to be your frontpage and then did not update the modules to be displayed?

Just a note, uninstalling flexicontent will delete flexicontent extra data, like Extra field values, but no worries nothing of standard joomla data is deleted.

Did you read faq to créate homepage ?

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?
