Fatal Error in search - multilanguage was created by hede

When I link to the FC search item in the default language main menu the search form gets at least displayed but the search itself returns (as already pointed out in another post):

Fatal error: Cannot access protected property FLEXIcontentViewSearch::$_models in ...\components\com_flexicontent\controller.php on line 1195

When I link to the FC search item in the German language main menu the search form already fails with:

Fatal error: Using $this when not in object context in ...\libraries\joomla\plugin\plugin.php on line 103

Is there any way or work around to get some search functionality for a website with the FC installed right now? Thanks.

FF on Win10, FLEXIcontent version 3.0.10 on Joomla 3.4
