In the global "Configuration" of FLEXI I switched "Disable CSS" to YES but item.css is still in use in the front end. So I wonder what "Disable CSS" is for?

Version: FLEXI nb from 16. March 2012 on J2.5.3

cheers

an idea rename it

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

i think this setting is not related to the css files for the templates
so then you would en/disable this for all the templates
also for your own ones
this is not meant/praktisch

it is probably only meant the CSS for the FlexiContent views

Thank you Rehne but now Im confused - what is a "view"? I assumed the templates would produce the frontend output and hence hold the css files. Where come the "views" into play? Is there a documentation I should read first?

Rehne is right,

this setting disables the loading of the main css file of flexicontent in all frontend views:

meaning the file:
components/com_flexicontent/assets/css/flexicontent.css
is not loaded

TO developers: a quick way to see how a parameter is used to examine the parameter form field via firebug to see the name of the field, and then do a global text search in the code to see where the parameter is used.

Regards
